Part-Time
20-25 Hours per Week
As a cook, you will prepare and serve meals, oversee foodservice operation, and ensure adequate food and supplies are available.
You will:
* Prepare and serve food to residents within the scheduled timeframe.
* Follow menu cycle, noting changes or substitutions made on proper form.
* Clean and maintain a neat, safe working environment, including the kitchen and food service areas.
* Comply with state sanitation codes.
* Maintain inventory control, place food orders, verify that items are received appropriately, and restock as needed.
* Ensure that resident food preferences are known and followed.
You Currently:
* Can obtain a Food Handler's card and meet all mandatory health requirements by state regulations.
* Typical candidates have one year of cooking experience.
* Read, write, speak, and understand English.
