Associate Director - Recruiting Lawyers and Company Secretarial Professionals into inhouse roles at Taylor Root
The Role: Unique opportunity to support the commercial arm of a quasi-government business, investing billions across a number of key growth areas, driving innovation across Australia. This presents an exciting opportunity to contribute to an Australian development entity during a critical time of growth. The remit of this role will include working across a broad range of corporate, advisory and transactional matters, and you will be involved in providing support on both investment and non-investment transactions.
Responsibilities
Drafting, reviewing and negotiating commercial contracts related to NDAs, IP, data privacy, and professional services.
Provide support on transactions related to the business's investment activities as well as advising on corporate, operational and regulatory matters.
Contributing to the development and implementation of NRFC’s policies and procedures.
Ensuring the organisation is meeting its statutory obligations under the Freedom of Information Act.
Liaise with and engage external lawyers, managing relationships and budgets.
Working to streamline processes and create efficiencies where possible.
Ideal Candidate / Qualifications
Admitted to practice in Australia or Current Zealand.
Junior – mid level lawyer with experience in either commercial contracts, technology, M&A; or banking and finance.
Solid drafting and negotiating skills is essential.
Commercial, solutions focused approach.
Excellent attention to detail and strong relationship building skills
