Cadet Building Surveyor for Access Consulting
THE ROLE
Due to continued growth, we are seeking a Graduate Access Consultant with a Building Surveying degree who is keen to build a career in access consulting.
The Role This is a non-building surveying role and is suited to a graduate who wants to specialise in accessibility and compliance within the built environment.
With full training and mentoring provided, you will:
* Assist with accessibility assessments against the NCC, DDA and Australian Standards (including AS 1428)
* Review architectural and construction documentation for access compliance
* Prepare access reports and written compliance advice
* Attend site inspections with senior access consultants
* Liaise with architects, designers and project teams
* Develop technical expertise in inclusive design and access solutions
About You
This role will suit someone early in their career who is motivated to specialise in access consulting.
You will ideally have:
* A completed degree in Building Surveying (or closely related discipline)
* Strong interest in accessibility, compliance and inclusive design
* Good written and verbal communication skills
* Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn
* A professional, proactive approach and collaborative mindset
No prior access consulting experience is required.
