We are seeking a Skilled and Experienced Chef to join our team on a full time, fixed-term contract for 3 months (non-ongoing).

Duties and ResponsibilitiesDesign and prepare cutting-edge, high-quality dishes, incorporating seasonal ingredients and aligning with the restaurant's culinary identity.
Collaborate with kitchen leadership to plan, refine, and update menus based on customer preferences, seasonal produce, and food cost considerations.
Manage food preparation and cooking processes, ensuring consistency, portion accuracy, and adherence to established recipes and standards.
Oversee inventory management, including monitoring stock levels, minimising wastage, and supporting procurement of fresh, cost-effective ingredients.
Ensure compliance with all food safety, hygiene, and workplace health regulations, maintaining a clean, organised, and fully functional kitchen setting.
Train, mentor, and guide kitchen staff, fostering teamwork, efficiency, and a high-performance kitchen culture.
Contribute to high service standards by coordinating with front-of-house staff and supporting smooth meal service during peak hours.
Assist in planning and executing special menus or events, ensuring all culinary components meet expectations and contribute to a memorable guest experience.
