Lead Risk Advisor

Job Description:
We are looking for a skilled professional to play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our technology risk advisory practice. As a lead risk advisor, you will have the opportunity to work with clients on enhancing their frameworks, operating models, and effectively using technology to manage risk and resilience.
You will be responsible for coaching and mentoring team members, fostering their growth in technology resilience, risk, and control. You will also be a trusted advisor, guiding clients on complex technical concepts and providing expert advice on risk management and resilience.
In this role, you will lead from the front, planning, managing, and delivering diverse engagements that empower organisations to elevate their management of technology risk and resilience environments.
You will influence decision-makers by presenting impactful insights and recommendations to senior management and executive stakeholders. You will also drive innovation, identifying and implementing opportunities to optimise risk management through enhanced use of technology, automation, data, and AI.
As a lead risk advisor, you will own your projects, taking charge of project management, ensuring quality, exceptional client service, and financial success.
You will build your brand by investing time in cultivating relationships and establishing your profile in the market and within the firm.
Candidates with relevant certifications, such as CISA, CISM, CISSP, or similar industry certifications, will be highly regarded. Having knowledge of APRA prudential regulatory requirements for operational resilience (CPS 230), technology security (CPS 234), and data (CPG 235) is an added bonus.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Proven leadership experience in a technology risk advisory or consulting role.
* Exceptional coaching and mentoring skills, with a passion for developing others.
* Excellent communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts in a clear and concise manner.
* Technical expertise in designing and implementing technology risk, resilience, and control frameworks.
* Client-facing experience, with a proven ability to deliver high-quality reports, proposals, and presentations to clients and stakeholders.
