The Opportunity
We're seeking a hands-on HCL Notes/Domino Developer & Consultant to design, develop and optimise applications across the Domino ecosystem.
This is a versatile consulting role where you'll work directly with clients, translate business requirements into technical solutions, and deliver high-quality applications that support critical organisational outcomes. You'll also gain exposure to Domino Administration and be supported to upskill in HCL Digital Experience (DX) Portal.
Key Responsibilities
* Design, develop and maintain applications within the HCL Notes/Domino environment
* Build and enhance XPages applications and modern web-based Domino solutions
* Develop and support multi-experience applications using Volt MX
* Implement workflows, forms, databases and integrations within HCL Notes/Domino
* Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate into technical solutions
* Integrate Domino applications with enterprise systems, APIs and third-party platforms
* Assist with application upgrades, migrations and modernisation initiatives
* Provide troubleshooting and technical support across Domino environments
* Contribute to consulting activities including solution design and client advisory
* Produce technical documentation and support knowledge sharing across the team

You'll be supported with structured training and enablement in:
* Modern HCL technologies including Volt MX and Nomad
* Certifications aligned to your career progression
About the Team
You'll join a specialist Domino practice within a well-established consulting organisation delivering solutions to enterprise and government clients. The team is small, collaborative and highly technical, offering strong mentorship and exposure to a wide range of complex environments and projects.
Skills & Experience Required
* Strong hands-on experience with XPages
* Experience developing workflows, forms and databases in Domino
* Basic to intermediate Domino Administration experience (support, upgrades, troubleshooting)
* Strong stakeholder engagement and problem-solving skills
* Experience in consulting, project delivery or client-facing roles
* Experience with HCL Digital Experience (DX) Portal
* Familiarity with Nomad or modern Domino workloads
* Enterprise system integrations and API development
* Experience in government or enterprise environments
Working Arrangements
This role offers flexible working arrangements with WFH or hybrid options available. You may occasionally engage with teams or clients across Sydney, Melbourne or Hobart, depending on project needs.
