A market leader in rendering poultry, red meat, and fish by-products into high-performance animal feed ingredient solutions and renewable fuels. The Role : You will be responsible for managing the logistics & product planning of this large operation, ensuring that all deliveries are coordinated to meet customer expectations and requirements. Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to : Scheduling the finished product distribution for both local and export requirements Fulfilling all export and local orders in a timely manner Working in conjunction with the production department, continuously improving process capabilities of product planning Efficient management of daily, weekly and monthly sales forecasts and logistics planning Planning and organising domestic and export shipments in line with customer deadlines Constant coordination with transport companies and customers to meet customer orders deadlines The Person : Strong Australian logistics background in a production/manufacturing environment is highly desirable Proven ability to meet deadlines, work under pressure and adapt to shifting schedules Understanding of importing and exporting and transport movement Excellent communication skills with an ability to build effective relationships with customers, in-house production teams and freight companies A team player with a positive and proactive approach Experience using ERP systems and MS Office Excel.
