About the role
We are seeking a dedicated and organised Administration Officer to support our Children, Youth and Families services, specifically within Out of Home Care, including Foster and Kinship Care programs.
In this role, you will provide high-quality administrative support to staff, clients, and the broader service team. You will play a key part in ensuring the smooth day‐to‐day operations of the service, contributing to positive outcomes for children, young people, and families.
This is a fixed‐term, full‐time position (38 hours per week) based in Nerang until 24 August 2026.

Responsibilities
* Provide a welcoming front‐desk service, including reception and telephone duties.
* Support staff onboarding through orientation and induction processes.
* Manage incoming and outgoing mail efficiently.
* Assist with planning and coordinating functions and events.
* Handle petty cash, reimbursements, and invoice processing accurately.
* Maintain and reconcile financial records, including petty cash floats.
* Create, file, and archive client records in accordance with organisational guidelines.
* Process timesheets and maintain employee and volunteer records in PayGlobal.
* Prepare, collate, and distribute training materials, manuals, certificates, mail‐outs, and newsletters.
* Provide proactive administrative support to the Service Manager, Coordinators, and team members.
* Uphold confidentiality, follow Anglicare's Code of Conduct, and comply with all policies and procedures.
* Contribute to process improvements, follow safe work practices, and complete tasks delegated by supervisors within role scope.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will bring:
* Strong organisational and time‐management skills, with attention to detail.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for working with staff, clients, and external stakeholders.
* Experience in administrative tasks, including filing, data entry, and document preparation.
* Proficiency in office software, including Microsoft Office and HR/payroll systems such as PayGlobal.
* Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion with sensitive information.
* A proactive and flexible approach, able to prioritise tasks and manage competing demands.
* Commitment to working in line with organisational values, policies, and Code of Conduct.
* A team‐focused mindset, with the ability to provide support and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
Qualifications and Requirements
* Certificate or Diploma in Business Administration or a related field (desirable), or equivalent practical experience.
* Current National Police Check.
* Current Blue Card (Working with Children).
* Current Queensland Driver Licence.
* Current Licensed Care Service or willing to obtain.
