About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and motivated HR Advisor to join on a part‐time basis (18‐24 hours per week). This is a flexible opportunity for a practical HR generalist who enjoys building positive relationships, supporting leaders and employees, and contributing to a positive workplace culture.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide day‐to‐day practical HR advice and support to managers and employees.
* Assist in the preparation and updating of HR policies, procedures and templates.
* Support staff wellbeing, recognition and employee engagement initiatives.
* Assist with training and development activities.
* Maintain employee records, contracts and HR documentation.
* Support workplace reporting and compliance with legislative obligations.
* Work closely with the HR Business Partner and hospital leaders to deliver operational HR support services and continuous improvement projects.
About You
* Previous experience in a generalist Human Resources or People & Culture role.
* A practical, organised and collaborative approach to problem‐solving.
* Strong communication and relationship‐building skills.
* Confidence in supporting managers with day‐to‐day people matters.
* Sound understanding of employment legislation and HR best practices.
* Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work with a diverse workforce.
* Strong attention to detail and ability to manage competing priorities.
* Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Office skills, particularly in Excel.
* Experience in healthcare, aged care, disability services or community services is highly regarded.
