Job Details
The Australian Electoral Commission is seeking two Release Train Engineers (RTEs) to join the Indigo Program Management Office (IPMO) .
The RTE acts as a servant leader and Agile Release Train (ART) coach, working closely with the Solution Train Engineer (STE) and Program Delivery Managers.
Key Duties And Responsibilities
* Facilitate and contribute to ART events and processes to deliver value
* Communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels
* Escalate and manage risks, issues, and dependencies
* Manage and optimise value delivery and drive continuous improvement
* Facilitate SAFe Agile Release Train practices and PI execution
* Adapt SAFe to the AEC context, standardising and documenting practices
* Build and maintain positive relationships across the Program
* Prepare reporting artefacts in line with agreed cadences
* Perform other responsibilities as directed

About The Project
Indigo Program (Tranche 2) A large-scale transformation program replacing core election ICT systems with a citizen-centric, agile technology platform, modernising business capabilities, and enhancing electoral service delivery.
Selection Criteria

Essential Criteria
* Previous and evidenced experience and skills as a Release Train Engineer
o Strong understanding of SAFe methodology in a large, complex, government program
o Excellent written and verbal communication skills
o Strong collaboration and negotiation abilities
o Proven teamwork and outcome-focused approach
o Ability to manage competing priorities and adapt to change
o High integrity in managing sensitive information

Desirable Criteria
* Relevant tertiary qualifications in a related field.
