Responsibilities
Deliver high-quality care to paediatric and neonatal patients
Participate in on-call roster, providing acute and emergency support
Lead and mentor junior doctors and contribute to their professional development
Support service improvement, governance, and clinical innovation
Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams across the region
Provide outreach clinics to surrounding regional and remote communities
Uphold culturally safe, equitable care for Aboriginal children and families
About You
Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians (FRACP) in Paediatrics, or equivalent
AHPRA Specialist Registration (or eligibility to obtain)
Strong expertise in acute and chronic paediatric medicine
Experience and interest in neonatal care, developmental paediatrics, and community health
A supportive leadership style with a passion for teaching, supervising and mentoring junior doctors
Resilience, adaptability, and confidence in managing complex or remote-care scenarios
A commitment to improving health outcomes for First Nations children
