You will partner closely with sales / marketing to develop marketing strategy and product launch activities, directly influence cross-functional teams in order to ensure dependencies for proposition, product and/ or service delivery are met and gather needs from clients to drive innovation and increase client adoption and retention.
You will be responsible for developing comprehensive product definitions, concept proposals and business cases which result in marketable products and services, be involved in budgeting activities, development of 3rd party partnerships, etc, support commercial facing teams in client engagement and retention activities as the Direct Tax SME and be responsible for reviewing current products to ensure that quality and currency are being maintained.

- Product launch and post launch management new and / or enhanced proposition, products and/or services, including design, development, and launch activities.
- Participate in or lead cross-functional meetings in order to ensure on-time, in-scope delivery Create standards, processes, and policies and participate in testing/validation.
- Create proposals or business case to obtain approval for project and gain support for new propositions, products, or services.
- Conduct or participate in market and competitive analysis in order to drive the creation and positioning of propositions, products, or services
- Supports definition and communication of features and benefits/key selling points and competitive positioning to key stakeholders
- May support commercial facing teams in client engagement and retention activities
**About You**
You're a fit for the role if your background includes:
- Demonstrated experience in product management including significant involvement in product definition and launch management OR be keen to move into product management from Senior Manager Big 4 Direct Tax role.
- Experience writing comprehensive business and functional requirements.
- Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams and clients and must love collaborating across boundaries, driving results and Championing Innovation.
- Ability to drive the direct tax team to execute product strategy.
- Superior demonstrated client facing skills and strong verbal skills, with competency in collaboration. Excellent written skills.
- Analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy. Strong organizational skills with the ability to meet deadlines.
- Complex problem-solving ability and project management skills
