About the Role
As a Trainee Environmental Health Officer, you will be responsible for assisting in administering Council's food safety, environment, and public health obligations under the direction of the Senior Environmental Health Officer.
This role involves conducting inspections of food premises, hairdresser and skin penetration premises, and onsite sewer management systems.
This entry-level position provides an excellent opportunity to gain valuable experience in environmental and planning services, including the chance to complete a Certificate IV in Local Government with Regulatory Control Specialisation.

Requirements
* Higher School Certificate or equivalent
* Current Drivers Licence (minimum NSW Provisional P1 Licence or equivalent)
* White card (general construction induction card) or willingness to obtain
* Digital literacy to access information, communicate and complete activities using a computer
* Able to work independently and/or within a team environment
* Good organisation skills and attention to detail
* Effective oral and written communication skills
* Customer service, collaboration and consultation abilities
