Job Title: Clinical Dietician
Job Summary:
The role of a clinical dietitian involves providing direct patient services, including consultation, assessment and education. The dietitian is responsible for ensuring that clinical services meet the needs of the program(s). Participation in departmental, hospital and educational activities supportive of professional and corporate objectives is also expected.
Key Responsibilities:
* Consultation with patients to provide personalized nutrition advice;
* Conducting assessments to identify nutritional needs and develop plans to address them;
* Education on healthy eating habits and disease prevention;
* Collaboration with healthcare teams to ensure comprehensive care.
Qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree in Food and Nutrition;
* Completion of a Dietitians of Canada (DC) approved dietetic internship or equivalent;
* Membership in the College of Dietitians of Ontario is required;
* French language skills are an asset.
