What You’ll Be Doing:
* Preparing financial statements in line with accounting standards
* Assisting with BAS, IAS, Payroll Tax, and compliance tasks
* Reconciling bank accounts, receivables, and payables
* Responding to client queries and resolving bookkeeping issues
* Supporting client relationships and communications
* Applying your knowledge of accounting practices and trends
* Identifying ways to improve processes and service delivery
About you:
What You’ll Bring:
We’re open to a range of experience levels! Whether you’re early in your career or more seasoned, we’d love to hear from you if you have:
* 6 months to 6 years of bookkeeping or accounting experience
* Qualifications in bookkeeping or accounting (or working towards them)
* Familiarity with Xero and MYOB AccountRight
* Payroll processing experience
* A solid grasp of accounting principles (Dr/Cr, P&L, Balance Sheet)
* GST knowledge and compliance understanding
* Strong time management and communication skills
* A proactive, self-driven attitude
