Landscape Planning Compliance Officer Location: Officer, VIC Contract: 4-month short term Pay: $52–$55 per hour + super Are you passionate about shaping sustainable, functional landscapes?
Join a local government team and play a key role in assessing and guiding landscape plans for new developments.
The primary focus of this role will be to review landscape plans and liaise with developers and our planning team to provide feedback, including participation in pre-application discussions.
What you'll do: Review and advise on landscape plans at masterplan and detailed design levels Ensure compliance with legislation, council policies, and safety standards Liaise with developers, consultants, and community stakeholders Contribute to policy development and master planning initiatives What we're looking for: Degree/Diploma in Landscape Architecture or Design (or equivalent experience) Strong knowledge of landscape planning, compliance, and asset management Excellent communication and problem-solving skills Local Government experience (desirable) Apply now and help us create landscapes that work for people and the environment
