Healthy Menu Coordinator Job Opportunity
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Cook to join our team at our centre. As a key member of our kitchen team, you will play an active role in creating healthy menus for children of all ages.
This is a great opportunity for someone who is passionate about cooking and committed to delivering high-quality meals that meet the nutritional needs of our children.
In this role, you will be responsible for preparing, implementing and evaluating the nutritional content of menus. You will also have access to a national network of centre cooks who regularly share recipes, questions, ideas and tips.
* You will have experience in bulk meal preparation, online ordering, stock management and budget control.
* You will be able to prepare meals that cater for individual child requirements including allergies, specific dietary requirements and needs.
* You will be keen to participate in the early educational opportunities of teaching children about healthy food by sharing in lessons and family events.
The ideal candidate will have:
* A Certificate III in Commercial Cookery or equivalent.
* Current Food Safety and Handlers (Health and Community) Certificate.
* Experience in an early childhood setting.
* Reliable transport to and from our centre.
