Position Overview
As Receptionist/Administrative Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting our accounting team with various administrative tasks. Your efficiency, organisational skills, and proactive approach will ensure the smooth operation of our office and contribute to the overall success of our firm.
Key Responsibilities
* Answer and direct phone calls, emails, and other correspondence.
* Greet and assist clients who come into the office.
* Schedule and coordinate meetings, appointments, and travel arrangements.
* Prepare and distribute internal and external documents, including reports, memos, and invoices.
* Assist with bookkeeping and data entry tasks as required.
* Maintain accurate and organised filing systems, both physical and digital.
* Provide general administrative support to the accounting team and other departments as needed.
* Assist in the preparation and processing of financial documents and statements.
* Handle client enquiries and provide exceptional customer service.
Qualifications
* Proven experience as an administrative assistant or in a similar role.
* Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
* Excellent organisational and time-management skills.
* High attention to detail and accuracy.
* Strong verbal and written communication skills.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Familiarity with accounting software (e.g., MYOB, Xero) is a plus.
* Basic understanding of bookkeeping and accounting principles is desirable.
* A proactive and positive attitude with a willingness to learn and adapt.
