**The Company**
My client is a leading food manufacturing organisation with an instantly recognisable brand servicing major retailers across ANZ. With a strong market reach, they are taking the next step to further cement their position as leaders in the market after an impressive history of growth. As a result they require a skilled Supply Planner to join a close knit and growing team to be based out of their office in Hobart, Tasmania.
**The Role**
You will be responsible for supply planning activities across the raw material portfolio, driving process improvement and representing the supply function in review meetings.
Your responsibilities include but are not limited to;
- Ensuring the right amount of raw material stock is available to meet demand
- Delivering accurate supply plans and reports across the assigned business divisions
- Continuously review demand requirements and schedule replenishment to achieve maximum fill rate whilst minimising inventory holdings
- Work cross-functionally to ensure improvements in variances between plan & actuals
- Engaging with internal & external customers to ensure demands are met within a timely manner
This role is very fast paced and would suit someone dynamic and not afraid of change. You will need to be forward thinking, a problem solver, have excellent communication skills and the ability to make decisions & influence.
**Your Background**
In order to be successful in this role you will be;
- Ideally a degree in Business or Supply Chain & Logistics
- Systems savvy with the ability to interpret data and produce reports for internal stakeholders
- Ideally 2+ years as a supply planner or supply chain analyst
- Exposure to a fast-paced environment
- A high level of thoroughness and attention to detail with an analytical approach
