About the Job
* Lead front of house and back of house teams, ensuring seamless day-to-day operations.

* Take charge of barista duties and maintain high-quality control measures.
* Roster and schedule staff effectively, ensuring adequate coverage during peak periods.
* Source and purchase goods, manage stock levels, and minimize waste.
* Monitor costs, wastage, and supplier relationships to optimize profitability.
* Recruit, onboard, and train new staff members, promoting a positive workplace culture.
* Maintain compliance with food safety and Workplace Health and Safety (WHS) regulations.
* Collaborate with ownership to identify business opportunities and develop effective promotional strategies.
Required Skills and Qualifications
* Strong barista skills and in-depth knowledge of specialty coffee.
* Excellent customer service and communication abilities, enabling strong relationships with customers and staff.
* A proven track record of leading teams and fostering a positive work environment.
* Strong organizational skills, with a focus on efficiency and attention to detail.
* Experience with ordering, inventory management, cost control, and shift scheduling.
* Familiarity with food safety, hygiene, and WHS practices, ensuring a safe working environment.
* Flexibility to work across weekends and peak trade periods, as required.
