Job Title: Engine Field Service Technician
Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Engine Field Service Technician to join our team.
* Engages customers in a courteous and professional manner, fostering strong relationships built on trust and respect.
* Utilizes specialized tools and adheres to documented procedures and policies to diagnose and complete less complex repairs efficiently.
* Performs routine maintenance activities as per established schedules and standards on engine and related components in the field, ensuring optimal performance and extending equipment lifespan.
* Escalates unresolved issues to more experienced technicians and/or supervisors for timely resolution.
* Maintains accurate records, including service worksheets, timesheets, warranty claims, quality documents via handwritten forms or business system input screens.
Key Responsibilities:

2. Diagnostic Skills: Utilizes troubleshooting techniques and diagnostic tools to identify and resolve complex technical issues.

5. Collaboration: Works collaboratively with cross-functional teams to achieve shared goals and objectives.
6. Continuous Learning: Stays up-to-date with the latest technologies, products, and industry developments through ongoing training and professional development.
7. Health and Safety: Champions and models proactive health and safety behaviors by identifying, reporting, and participating in actions to improve workplace safety.
8. Diagnostics Application: Translates customer complaints into actionable plans; troubleshoots issues using guided workflows, procedures, specialized equipment, and computer software to isolate failed components and enable successful repair.
9. Electronic Service Tool Application: Identifies the required electronic tool suite for service events and utilizes the appropriate tools to maintain products or diagnose and troubleshoot issues.
10. Engine Systems Interactions: Interprets and analyzes the interactions of internal and external electrical and mechanical systems by applying tools, service publications, and taking measurements to efficiently and correctly diagnose and repair.
11. Product Repair and Maintenance: Repairs and maintains mechanical/electrical products following guidelines, utilizing required tools within standard repair time to ensure quality repairs.
12. Service Documentation: Creates and verifies customer, equipment, and technical information; captures specific data using required service tools.
13. Technical Escalation: Obtains product technical issue information and utilizes available resources, including data management tools.
