As Retail Supervisor at the Tasmania Football Club (TFC), you’ll play a key role in bringing our retail vision to life. You’ll help set the Club’s retail foundations across our store, pop up events and match day sales.
With TFC entering the AFL and AFLW, we’re building something historic. From launching our retail space, bringing exciting new merchandise to market and delivering innovative customer experiences, this is your chance to create memorable moments for our fans.
Your Role
We are seeking a reliable Retail Supervisor to lead the day-to-day operations of our retail store, deliver exceptional customer service, and support our event-based pop-up events. The ideal candidate is a proactive and hands-on leader with the ability to manage inventory, inspire team performance, and build strong connections within the local community.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead daily retail operations, including opening and closing procedures, to ensure smooth and efficient store performance.
* Maintain high visual merchandising and store presentation standards in line with club branding.
* Ensure compliance with all retail policies, procedures, and operational guidelines.
* Day to day management of inventory, including stocktaking, replenishment, organisation and reporting.
* Deliver outstanding customer service in-store, reflecting the club’s values and standards.
* Manage customer communications via e-mail and phone, providing prompt and professional support.
* Resolve customer issues with empathy and efficiency, ensuring a positive experience.
* Oversee timely and accurate preparation of Click & Collect orders.
* Oversee staff rostering and ensure timely coverage for roster changes or absences.
* Contribute to the planning and execution of retail pop-up events.
Skills and Experience
* Minimum 2 years’ experience in retail or customer service.
* Customer service-focused with excellent interpersonal skills.
* Proficient in stock handling & merchandising procedures.
* Ability to work flexible hours including weekends, public holidays, and match days as required.
* Hold a valid Driver's Licence and reliable transport.
* Have a valid Working with Vulnerable People check.
* Comfortable using Zendesk or similar platforms for customer communications.
* Previous experience with Shopify is a bonus.
