Job Description:
We are seeking a Commercial Contracting Officer to join our team and contribute to the acquisition, integration, and sustainment of command, control, and communications systems for the Australian Defence Force.
As a Commercial Contracting Officer, you will provide detailed contracting technical, professional, and policy advice on complex work, and contribute to strategic planning, program and project management, and policy development.
Key Responsibilities:
* Working independently with reasonable autonomy and accountability for outcomes.
* Engaging with stakeholders on complex issues, identifying and responding to their needs to achieve Defence outcomes.
You will be responsible for providing commercial advice and guidance to support the delivery of Defence projects and programs.
Requirements:

* Ability to establish clear plans, respond to change, and adapt.
* Innovative thinking, accountability, and a flexible approach.
* Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively.
* Sound commercial acumen and understanding of the Defence Industry sector in Australia.
Applicants must be able to obtain and maintain a security clearance at 'Negative Vetting Level 1'.
