We are looking for a committed 2nd -3rd year Apprentice butcher or meat boner who has some boning experience and knife skills to join our Production unit in Canning Vale.
Responsibilities:
* assists to prepare production room;
* completes orders for the day including meat cuts and trimming meat to add value for our retail outlets and wholesale customers;
* packages all meats according to customer requirements;
* prepares frozen stock for supplying to wholesale, retail and freezer storage;
* ensures work practices comply with the company QA and HACCP policies and procedures;
* at the end of each day work, cleans machinery, equipment, tools and production area;
* undertake other tasks as required by the line manager
* further training and support from our company qualified Butchers will be available to take you through to completion of your apprenticeship.
