Key Responsibilities
* Run all 1st-level data management activities across the client's ecosystem.
* Track and manage exceptions, ensuring timely resolution.
* Manage client ecosystem vendors to enable faster execution and processing.
* Escalate and resolve issues as they arise.
* Oversee all client ecosystem activities, including Aladdin, Pearl, FactSet, Aximoa, Python, BNPP, and NT.
* Coordinate all changes in collaboration with ecosystem partners listed above.
Candidate Profile
The successful candidate will have:
* 10+ years of experience in investment operations, data management, or performance reporting.
* Proven experience with Aladdin and ecosystem technologies, particularly in operational data handling, CDF file management, security mastering, and compliance setup.
* Prior experience establishing and leading mid-sized operations teams, ideally within managed services or consulting environments.
* Strong working knowledge of investment management data domains: securities reference data, benchmarks, FX, derivatives, and portfolio/account structures.
* Expertise in data reconciliation, exception handling, and working with vendors such as NT, FactSet, or Bloomberg.
* Ability to engage with senior client stakeholders and manage expectations across internal and external teams.
* Familiarity with tools such as ServiceNow, JIRA, or similar platforms for issue tracking and workflow management.
* Experience managing a team of 7 FTE.
* Accountability for all activities required by the client to support their investment data operations.
Main Tasks
* Lead and support data operations, mastering, and reconciliation tasks across Aladdin and downstream platforms.
* Act as the Aladdin platform SME, overseeing CDF completeness, security setup (Shell & Full), target structures, cash balance loading, and policy tree updates.
* Provide oversight of P&A data alignment, benchmark mapping, strategy tag reconciliation, and referential enrichment processes.
* Serve as the first point of escalation for data exceptions, file delivery delays, and model-driven anomalies.
* Partner with client stakeholders in investment operations, compliance, and P&A teams to ensure consistent delivery and issue resolution.
* Own and manage team processes, including daily stand-ups, SOP development, RCA documentation, and data quality certification reporting.
* Drive transition planning and knowledge transfer, progressively reducing client SME involvement over time.
* Support continuous improvement initiatives, including automation, dashboard development, and delivery model optimization (hybrid and offshore transitions).
* Coordinate all changes with ecosystem partners to ensure full end-to-end testing is completed prior to implementation.
* Operations Management – applying existing processes to deliver measurable value to end clients.
* Process Optimisation – defining optimal workflows, frameworks, and controls.
* Data Management – leading projects on data lineage, standardisation, and reconciliation.
* BRS Aladdin Expertise – trade operations, static data management, and routing.
* Project Management – delivering complex projects using structured methodologies.
* Consulting & Advisory – navigating complex ecosystems and clients to drive solutions.
