Equipment Maintenance Specialist - Provisional
This position is responsible for ensuring the provision of approvals to approved service repairers for passenger, commercial vehicles and equipment nationally. The role also involves managing maintenance costs incurred after the vehicle has been delivered to the customer.
The successful candidate will provide appropriate and accurate information while ensuring day-to-day queries and operational issues are resolved within agreed timeframes.
Key Responsibilities:
* Approve suppliers' requests for maintenance and repair work on managed vehicles and equipment.
* Ensure all services carried out meet manufacturers' service requirements.
* Ensure defective vehicle and equipment repairs are carried out in accordance with current CoR and Health and Safety processes.
* Actively collaborate with external suppliers to improve their EVO portal usage.
Requirements:
* Qualified Diesel Mechanic
* Effective communication skills, both verbally and in writing, demonstrating good listening and probing skills.
* Critical analysis and problem-solving skills, demonstrating resourcefulness, perseverance, and accountability.
Please note that a requirement of this role is that you must be a licensed heavy vehicle mechanic.
