Due to continued growth, Environmental Industries has a fantastic opportunity for a self driven, skilled and experienced commercial Landscape Gardener/Grounds Maintenance person to work within our construction department. You will deliver the highest standards of grounds maintenance services for our clients at the completion/near completion of our construction projects across the Perth Metro Area. In addition, you will look be involved in the soft scaping side of the construction projects which could include but not be limited to: turf management, planting and mulching etc. This will predominately be a standalone position so a high degree of initiative and motivation is required along with ability to get the job done and achieve a high standard of quality workmanship. The successful candidate will be customer service driven. A competitive remuneration package is on offer which includes a company vehicle for work related use. Key Duties will include: Gardening and general turf and grounds keeping Ride on mowing and edging Weeding, raking, mulching and pruning Planting trees and plants Applying pesticides and fertilizer Completion and submission of relevant paperwork/reports Other duties as required Skills and Experience 3-5 years plus experience in a similar role Ability to work autonomously Strong quality and health and safety knowledge Competent computer knowledge Excellent communication skills Tickets, Licenses and Qualifications Cert III Horticulture-highly desirable Valid Driver’s License-C Class (manual) Pest Management Ticket-desirable Traffic Management Ticket-desirable White/Blue Card (mandatory) National Police Clearance (less than 6 month old at own cost) Don’t delay, for immediate consideration please submit an up to date resume and cover letter detailing your skills and experience.
