As an Auto Electrician, you'll be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining electrical systems in vehicles, ensuring they operate safely and efficiently. You'll work with a variety of vehicles and technology from light commercial vehicles to heavy machinery, in a supportive and safety-focused environment.
What We're Looking For
Service Call Technician
* Trade qualification as an Auto Electrician (Certificate III in Automotive Electrical Technology or equivalent)
* Aircon qualified and valid licence
* Minimum of 3 years experience in vehicle electrical diagnostics and repairs
* Strong understanding of automotive electrical systems and fault-finding
* Ability to read and interpret wiring diagrams and schematics
* Commitment to workplace safety and high-quality workmanship
* Current manual driver's licence
* Australian work rights are required for this position
Key Responsibilities
* Diagnose and repair electrical faults in vehicles and equipment, referring larger jobs back to the workshop
* Diagnosing and repairing electrical systems on the road
* Conduct testing with diagnostic equipment and software
* Aircon degassing and re-gassing for our account customers
* Work closely with other technicians to ensure efficient turnaround times
* Maintain accurate records of work completed and parts used
