* Employment Status: Permanent full time
* Location: Charters Tower & Surrounding Areas
* Remuneration: $35.51 p/hr + 12% Super + Not for Profit Salary Packaging (increases your take home pay) + Allowances & Travel Reimbursement (KM's) + Employee discounts

Your part in the team

BlueCare's specialised palliative care services are growing throughout Queensland. Joining our team, you will support the delivery of high-quality end-of-life care and contribute to BlueCare's goal to expand palliative care services across the state. This opportunity offers:

* a focus on ensuring every Queenslander receives the highest standard of palliative care in their home

We currently have an opportunity for a Personal Carer to join the team in Maryborough. You will provide care to palliative care clients living in the community, supporting their end-of-life wishes and improving their quality of life.

* Spend time on the road completing scheduled visits, interacting one-on-one with clients within their homes
* In-home personal care, daily living assistance including showering, personal hygiene, meal preparation, house cleaning, laundry and ironing
* Providing care in accordance with individualised Care Plans
* Supporting community-based recreational and social activities
* Transportation and assistance with shopping and appointments

* Certificate III Aged Care, Home and Community Care, Disability Support, or an equivalent qualification
* Current Australian driver's licence and roadworthy vehicle (Applicable only for Personal - Carer - Community Aged Care)
* Experience with technology (smartphones, tablets, laptops, etc.)
* Confidence to satisfy relevant probity checks required by legislation or policies
