We are seeking a skilled Fabrication Tradesperson to join our team.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in trade skills and be able to work independently as well as part of a team.
You will be responsible for servicing and maintaining our heritage rolling stock, including railmotors, wooden coaches, and steam locomotives based out of our Ipswich Workshops.
* Service and maintain our heritage rolling stock.
You will work with other fabricators or engineers on rolling stock modifications to ensure that the work is compliant with industry standards.
Typical working hours are 9 days fortnight (76 hours) with an RDO every second Monday.
* Rostered Days Off every second Monday.
To be successful in this role you will need to hold a Fitter Trade Cert and have previous experience in maintenance and/or rolling stock maintenance industry.
