* Position title: Staff Specialist – Endocrinology
* Position status: Permanent Full Time (80 hrs p.f.)
* Work unit/facility location: Department of Medicine, Mackay Hospital and Health Service
Develop and grow an outstanding diabetes service, highlighting the opportunity to lead significant, innovative change and support the expansion of the service into a clinical centre of excellence aligned with all 'Getting it Right First Time' (GIRFT) diabetes standards.
Fully supported by Executive, Clinical and Operational Leads to be the leader who drives evidence-based practice improvements, ensuring we deliver an outstanding Diabetes service for the community.
You'll be joining a small but highly functional and committed multidisciplinary diabetes team on site, with additional support from tertiary hospitals across the region.
Base salary rates as specified by the Medical Officers' (Queensland Health) Certified Agreement (No.7) 2025: L25 to L27- $256,246 to $271,430 p.a.; L18 to L24 - $215,078 to $249,046 p.a.
