About You
* Formal trade qualification in a relevant field and relevant work experience.
* Demonstrated experience in Sushi and Sashimi cooking techniques and menu creation.
* Extensive knowledge of various cooking techniques, cuisines, and culinary trends.
* Excellent organisational skills and time management to handle multiple priorities including coordinating with the Front of House staff.
* Keen interest and passion for keeping up-to-date with industry trends.
* A working understanding of and ability to maintain food safety standards and HACCP.
* Flexibility to work various shift including weekends, nights, and public holidays.

About Us
Ardo is our newest hotel in the group that opened in Townsville in late 2023. Its arrival brings elevated relaxation and rejuvenation to North Queensland's premier leisure and entertainment precinct, nestled on the edge of the Coral Sea with uninterrupted views across to Magnetic Island. Ardo's signature steak and seafood restaurant, Marmor promises a true elevation of Australia's finest gourmet cuisine, while diners at Terasu will be invited to experience a relaxed but edgy take on traditional Japanese cuisine. Ardo Rooftop will be instantly iconic, with its stunning rooftop location, offering panoramic views across the Coral Sea to the horizon.
