FourQuarters Recruitment is engaged with a market-leading and global Financial Services organisation that specialises in investments, stocks, mortgage brokers and funds and shares across multiple businesses internationally.
The Role
This well-known business is looking to expand its finance team by hiring an experienced Payroll Officer to join the business on a full-time and permanent basis.
in this role, you will be responsible for the data compilation, entry, validation, transmission, and reporting required to execute fortnightly payroll to all crew members in Australia (and ex-pats in other locations). All payroll administration will be managed in compliance with regional payroll regulations and corporate policies.
You will also:
Build and maintain strong relationships with global peers, HR, Finance, Compliance and external vendors
Organise relevant data using Excel, Workday Enterprise Interface Builder tools, Access databases, Third Party vendor tools and best practices, while executing key controls and ensuring pay accuracy.
Provide support and guidance on payroll queries, administration and reporting. Troubleshoot and resolve payment and compensation issues.
Participate in projects to integrate new or enhance existing technologies, including work-flows, analysing impact, testing, preparing for change, and communicating to relevant stakeholders
2 years minimum with end-to-end payroll experience
Having international or global payroll experience is a bonus
ADP Payforce, Oracle and Workday systems is favourable
Familiar with ATO and government requirements is necessary
Excellent verbal and written communication
Must be a team player
Confident personality and personable in the workplace
It would be a bonus if you:
Have experience with payroll integration (we are integrating payroll between Workday and ADP Payforce)
Have previously worked in a geographically distributed team
Have experience working with Asia, or administering payroll across multiple regions
