Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Electrical Engineer with 5-7 years of experience in the building services industry. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background and a passion for designing efficient electrical systems for commercial and residential buildings.
Key Responsibilities:
* Design and develop electrical systems for building projects, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
* Collaborate with architects, mechanical engineers, and other stakeholders to integrate electrical designs into overall project plans.
* Conduct site assessments and feasibility studies to determine electrical requirements.
* Prepare detailed technical specifications, drawings, and reports.
* Manage project timelines and budgets, ensuring timely delivery of electrical components.
* Mentor junior engineers and provide guidance on best practices in electrical design.
* Stay updated on industry trends, technologies, and regulatory changes.
Qualifications:
* Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
* 5-7 years of experience in electrical engineering within the building services sector.
* Proficiency in electrical design software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, ETAP).
* Strong knowledge of electrical codes and standards (e.g., NEC, IEC).
* Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
* Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
* Professional Engineer (PE) license is preferred
