About Your New Role This role exists to support the critical delivery phase of the FY27 Budget. It's a hands-on, execution-focused FP&A role, with an immediate priority on budget template ownership, simplification, and governance, followed by deep involvement across budget execution, analytics, and commercial challenge. You will be accountable for ensuring the FY27 budget cycle is enabled through fit-for-purpose templates, strong analytical oversight, and disciplined coordination across stakeholders. Key Responsibilities: Own, simplify, and uplift FY27 budget templates ahead of launch Build scalable, fit-for-purpose Excel planning models for business use Apply advanced Excel capability including Power Query, VBA, and financial modelling Embed strong governance, validations, checks, and reconciliation controls Support business stakeholders with budget submissions and planning inputs Provide hands-on commercial support throughout the FY27 budget cycle Review submissions against top-down targets and strategic priorities Analyse trends, run-rates, variances, and key assumptions Translate analysis into clear commercial insight and “so what” outcomes Assist with review, consolidation, and capex tracking About You Proven Senior FP&A / Commercial Finance experience Manufacturing or product-based sector experience (strongly preferred) Advanced Excel capability is non-negotiable (Power Query, VBA, modelling, governance) Demonstrated experience simplifying and owning complex budget templates Highly analytical, commercially minded, and delivery-focused Comfortable handling large data sets and tight timelines Strong stakeholder engagement skills across Finance and the business Available to commence immediately or within short notice What’s in It for You $140,000 - $150,000 super Genuine opportunity to extend or move to permanency Highly visible role during a critical FY27 budget delivery phase Hybrid working model (2 days WFH) Onsite parking & close to public transport A role where your Excel and FP&A skillset will be genuinely valued and utilised Please APPLY NOW or contact Declan Stacey for more information on 0483 945 773
