* This position enables effective and efficient procurement processes.
Key Responsibilities:
* Tendering and contract management, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards
* Build relationships with suppliers to negotiate favorable terms and prices
* Evaluate quotations from suppliers based on quality, cost, delivery timescales.
Support Council's strategic objectives by delivering high-quality procurement services that meet customer needs. Key performance indicators will be monitored regularly to assess service level.

1. Procurement or purchasing experience within a large organization preferably in public sector
2. Able to manage competing priorities efficiently ,able maintain confidentiality as required ,and prioritise effectively under pressure.
