This role involves maintaining apartments, common areas, and building exteriors. You will work alongside the ANU Maintenance department to manage soft facilities requirements.
The key responsibilities of this role are:
* Inspect and report on general maintenance and minor repairs to rooms and common areas.
* Perform general repairs such as light bulb changes, carpentry, and investigative work to identify potential issues.
* Assist in the effective operation of the building and its compliance with OH&S requirements.
* Operate within company health and safety procedures.
* Provide assistance in a professional and efficient manner to customers.
* Communicate effectively with other staff and contractors.
* Establish good working relationships with contractors.
* Assist with major emergency issues after hours, such as water leakages, power failures, or fire.
