The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing a variety of dishes, maintaining high presentation standards, and ensuring consistency in food quality.
Key Responsibilities:
* Prepare different varieties of cuisine
* Create dishes with creativity and high presentation standards
* Skilled in preparing, seasoning, and cooking food according to recipes
* Contribute to menu planning
* Understand food safety and OHS requirements
* Train and manage cooks and kitchen staff
* Achieve all safety, hygiene, and food quality standards
* Manage daily kitchen operations including ordering
Requirements:
* At least 2 years' experience in a similar role
* Relevant qualifications in commercial cookery
* Ability to excel in a high-volume, high-pressure environment
* Proactive, energetic, and passionate about the hospitality industry
* Effective communication skills with an approachable manner
