The Royal Automobile Club of Tasmania Limited (RACT) has been a part of the Tasmanian community for over 100 years. With their local knowledge, they support more than 200,000 members with a shoulder to lean on and voice when it matters. As the State's number one brand, RACT's goal is to have a valued relationship with every Tasmanian. An opportunity has now arisen for a number of Non-Executive Directors to nominate for the RACT Group Board in line with the AGM later this year. This represents an exciting opportunity to join a progressive Board, leading and overseeing the organisation's transformational growth journey.
To successfully receive the Board's recommendation, candidates will need to demonstrate that they would bring breadth to the Board's expertise with skills and experience in any of the following areas: insurance, accounting, legal, marketing/communications, retail, and/or advocacy.
These positions will suit experienced directors or senior executives with outstanding leadership and communication skills, together with strong strategy, risk management and governance skills and an aptitude for for-purpose organisations.
Exposure to organisational change and transformation would be viewed favourably, with a preference for Tasmanian based candidates, or those with strong connections to Tasmania.
