About the Role
We are seeking a Business Analyst to support the delivery of a business case for our fraud program. This is a key role in assisting the delivery of a diverse and varied program of work focused on a large-scale fraud investigation capability uplift.
Main Responsibilities
* Support the development of a business case across our fraud program.
* Collaborate closely with program, business, and technical stakeholders to discover, define, validate, prioritise, and continuously manage requirements that translate identified needs into solution outcomes aligned with our architectural principles and strategies.
* Work with Agile delivery practices, including backlog creation/refinement and associated requirements gathering, data discovery, and analysis.
* Maintain an outcome-focused approach while effectively challenging and retaining a customer-centric mindset.
* Demonstrate self-management, adaptability, and a quick learning capacity.
* Cultivate strong relationships with dynamic technical teams, business stakeholders, and third-party providers.
* Facilitate workshops and perform business analysis activities, including business process modelling, business and solution requirements lifecycle management, and data modelling.
* Define project requirements by identifying project milestones, phases, and features.
* Suggest changes and enhancements to senior management using analytics to support recommendations and actively participate in implementing approved changes.
* Collaborate with various business units to support and maintain new and existing customer data and system integrations.
Selection Criteria
1. Demonstrated experience working in a similar role supporting the successful delivery of high-impact initiatives leading to meaningful change, with a proven ability to use initiative and self-drive to meet demanding deadlines.
2. Proven experience (more than 3 years) in a senior role relating to fraud investigations, case management, and data mining, including delivery of new services and ongoing feature elaboration.
3. Experience with Cloud environments, specifically Microsoft Azure or Amazon Web Services.
4. Demonstrated strong interpersonal skills, including effective liaison and communication with stakeholders, both verbally and in writing.
5. Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team environment, cultivating productive working relationships across multiple projects and business areas.
6. Demonstrated experience in eliciting business requirements and acceptance criteria using various techniques, including workshops.
