The Service Guidance Branch is part of the Service Design Division at the NDIA. We are a national branch with staff in VIC, NSW and SA.
Our role is to develop clear, accessible guidance for all NDIA staff, participants and the wider disability community.
We work across the NDIA, collaborating closely with subject matter experts such as policy, legal, service design, ICT and service delivery, to analyse and translate complex and technical information into plain English, accessible, fit for purpose guidance, which supports NDIA staff in their day-to-day work.

Duties include but not limited to:
o Researching, drafting and updating internal and external guidance with a participant focus that reflects the Agency’s policy positions and meets agency’s plain English and accessibility standards.
o Interpreting the policy and legislative environment the branch operates in, including understanding and translating the NDIS Act and NDIS Rules into Our Guidelines.
o Developing or updating guidance material in response to participant and external stakeholder feedback.
o Understanding the key stages of the participant pathway, specific participant cohorts and technical processes within SAP CRM and PACE business system requirements.

This role can be performed from our offices in Newcastle NSW, Adelaide SA, Geelong VIC or Richmond VIC, with flexibility to work some days from home. We intend to fill this role in an ongoing capacity, however non-ongoing roles up to 12 months with the possibility of extension up to 2 years may be offered .
Successful candidates will be required to undergo a pre-employment National Police History check, Worker Screening check and/or Working with Children Check (where required) and provide evidence of Australian Citizenship.
