**About the role**
Tweed Community & Allied Health have a vacancy for a Social worker to join their Urgent Care Service. This role provides alternate care pathways for patients that would otherwise present to a hospital emergency department with lower acuity non-emergent conditions. The service is a Nurse Practitioner and Extended Care Paramedic led model with the primary strategy to manage the demand for services at local emergency departments while providing meaningful care to the community. As a Social Worker within the Tweed Urgent Care Service you will provide high quality clinical services and leadership as an integral part of the multidisciplinary health care team for patients/clients of the Northern NSW Local Health District (NNSWLHD).
