COS Design has been one of the leading landscape design firms in Australia over the past 20 years. We specialise in high-end residential properties and offer services for landscape, alfresco and pools. We pride ourselves in our exceptional presentation and detailing of concept plans, town planning and working drawing documentation. We currently have an opportunity for an experienced landscape architect to join our team. The successful applicant will have keen eye for detail, be team orientated and self-motivated and able to multi task.
This is a full time, position however part time hours can possibly be negotiated for the right candidate.
About the role
As part of the COS Design team, under the supervision of senior Architects, you will be required to carry out accurate site measures, base plan preparation, along with liaising with clients, engineers and contractors effectively while honing your ongoing career skills & development. The role would ideally suit a qualified landscape architect that wants to increase their knowledge and work for one of Melbourne's leading Landscape Design firms.
Skills and experience
· Degree/qualifications in landscape architecture from an accredited university or equivalent.
· A minimum 2 years full time work as a Landscape Architect / designer
· Proficient in AutoCAD, Adobe Illustrator & Office Suite
· Experience in working with 3D software highly regarded
* A strong understanding of horticultural techniques, landscape construction process along with plant knowledge
· Positive attitude and willingness to be instructed by senior staff to learn company processes
· Very high attention to detail
· Ability to prioritize and organize work to meet deadlines
· Great communicator – written, verbal and graphically
· Self-motivated and a team player
· Drivers licence and car
