Precision IT is a nationally based Managed Services Provider (MSP) that provides IT services to a broad range of clients across Australia. We have offices located in Sydney, Brisbane, Gold Coast, and Melbourne.
We are growing and a unique opportunity has become available for an enthusiastic, self-motivated, bright and driven individual to join our Service Delivery Team in our Robina office in a hybrid work from home role.
The opportunity
As a Service Desk officer, you will be on the front line of the business and provide exceptional customer service and ensure timely response and resolution of any issues that pass through our support function. While our primary platforms include AWS, Azure, Microsoft 365, and Fortinet, you will also work with a diverse ecosystem of additional vendors and technologies. You'll take ownership of a variety of service requests and incidents.
You'll report to the Service Delivery Manager and provide our clients with Level 1 and Level 2 support across a broad range of products and services and collaborate with internal teams to deliver technical solutions. You will be on the front line of the business and provide exceptional customer service, technical support with a timely response and resolution of any issues that pass through our support function.
We provide exposure to a variety of different platforms including:
* Office 365.
* Cloud services.
* Networking.
* Security & Firewalls.

About you
* Strong written and verbal communication skills with high-level attention to detail.
* Customer-focused ensuring client confidence in the support team and the business.
* Ability to work individually and as a team in a collaborative environment.
* Be proactive and confident in finding and applying resolutions.
* Ability to manage high-pressure situations.
* Desire to further knowledge and experience in IT through certifications.
What you need
* 1+ years in a customer service focused role.
* 1-year minimum working in an outsourced service provider environment.
* Basic TCP/IP and Networking knowledge.
* Experience in Windows desktop OS and applications; including OS installs, upgrades etc.
* Knowledge of Windows Server and Active Directory desired but not required.
* Tertiary education in relevant IT course(s), and/or industry qualifications.
