CNC Machinist Role
We are seeking a skilled professional to fill a CNC machinist position at our company.
The role will involve:
* Accurate and efficient machining of components from engineering drawings and samples
* CNC programming using CAD/CAM software applications
* Setting up and operating CNC 3-axis milling machines fitted with Fanuc controllers
* Setting up and operating Okuma slant bed lathes
* Determining material and equipment requirements and task sequences
* Inspecting and verifying parts using precision measuring equipment
The ideal candidate will have:
* A strong commitment to safe work practices
* Experience working with small to large scale jobs in an industrial jobbing environment
* The ability to complete tasks on time and to quality standards
* The ability to pass drug and alcohol screening
