Regional Catering Sales Director
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Regional Catering Sales Director to lead and grow the catering and private event sales across multiple private country clubs within our portfolio.
This high-impact role is designed for a sales professional with a passion for hospitality, strong regional knowledge, and a proven track record in driving event revenue.
Sales Strategy & Execution
* Develop and implement regional sales strategies to increase event bookings across assigned clubs.
* Identify new business opportunities within each market and proactively generate leads through networking, prospecting, and community outreach.
* Create and manage sales pipelines and booking goals in alignment with each club's revenue targets.
* Mentor and support on-site catering sales directors and coordinators at each club.
* Provide ongoing training on sales tactics, CRM usage, lead generation, and conversion best practices.
* Collaborate with club-level leadership to align catering offerings with operational capabilities and standards.
Marketing & Brand Development
* Partner with the marketing team to create promotional materials, digital campaigns, and seasonal packages to support event sales.
* Ensure individual club brand consistency and high-quality presentation in all sales materials and communications.
Client Management
* Serve as a regional contact for key clients and VIP events, ensuring exceptional service from inquiry to execution.
* Maintain strong relationships with local businesses, event planners, and community organizations.
Reporting & Analysis
* Track and report on sales metrics, conversion rates, and revenue performance for each property.
* Analyze market trends and competitor activity to inform pricing, packaging, and positioning strategies.
Qualifications
* 5+ years of experience in catering/event sales, preferably in hospitality, country clubs, or luxury venues.
* 2+ years of multi-property or regional sales experience. Experience in regional role within a corporate structure preferred.
* Proven track record of exceeding sales goals and driving new business.
* Exceptional communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
* Proficiency in CRM systems (e.g., NorthStar, Delphi / Amadeus) and Microsoft Office Suite.
* Proficiency in contract software such as DocuSign, PandaDoc, HelloSign, etc.
* Must be able to effectively hire, train, motivate, discipline, and terminate employees.
* Ability to travel frequently within assigned region.
* Self-motivated, entrepreneurial spirit with strong leadership abilities.
* Bachelor's degree in Hospitality, Business, Marketing, or a related field preferred.
