Family Wellbeing Specialist
As a Family Wellbeing Specialist, you'll provide critical support to families facing complex challenges, fostering an environment of trust and guidance. You'll be the first point of contact for individuals in need, offering expert assessment, triage, and service planning.
This role is part of our integrated service approach, ensuring seamless collaboration with a multidisciplinary team. Based at our Orange Door hub in Hastings, you'll have the opportunity to work from home one day a week, promoting a healthy work-life balance.
Key Responsibilities:
* Conduct thorough assessments, identifying risk factors and developing effective service plans for optimal family outcomes.
* Collaborate closely with the Orange Door team to deliver targeted support, prioritizing client needs and streamlining services.
* Ensure timely referrals to specialist practitioners or services as required.
* Maintain accurate records and comply with relevant schemes, such as the Family Violence Information Sharing Scheme (FVISS).
Requirements:
* Relevant tertiary qualification in Social Work, Psychology, or a related field.
* Proven experience in child wellbeing or a similar domain, demonstrating expertise in supporting vulnerable populations.
* Demonstrated knowledge of best practices in family violence services, integrated family services, and Aboriginal Community Service Organizations.
* Strong understanding of diverse referral options for women and children affected by family violence.
* Ability to develop culturally safe action plans and navigate complex systems.
