About the role:
We're currently seeking a Psychologist to join our multidisciplinary team at St Vincent's Private Hospital Brisbane on a casual basis. This role is a fantastic opportunity for a Clinical Psychologist or provisionally registered Psychologist who is looking for flexible work opportunities within a supportive and cohesive private hospital environment, providing psychological support to our patients, their families and employees as required.
Your duties will include:
• Provide education and support to inpatients on an individual and group basis
• Design and implement relevant educational content for patients
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and in-services

Things that work for us:
* Registration with AHPRA (Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency) as a Psychologist. Provisionally registered candidates must have own arrangements for clinical supervision requirements.
* Advanced skills, knowledge, and experience in treating patients with chronic pain and/or rehabilitation
* Excellent interpersonal, time management and communication skills
* Ability to maintain collaborative and effective relationships with all multidisciplinary team members
* Ability to provide clinical practice and care consistent with the mission and philosophy of the facility
* Ability to plan and coordinate patient/resident/client care effectively, maintain patient advocacy and utilise patient management systems
* Ability to participate in and support education activities and to contribute to the development of self and other team members, with experience in running group- based pain management programs preferred
