Overview
National 360’s Hobart team is growing and looking for a Proficient Positive Behaviour Support Practitioner (PBS) to join. As an experienced PBS Practitioner you will have the opportunity to advocate for clients and work alongside a supportive multidisciplinary team.
Key Responsibilities
- Be supported with regular clinical supervision and mentoring
- Build a caseload that reflects your unique interests, skills, and goals
- Endorsed as 2Proficient2 or above under the PBS Capability Framework
- Be part of a dynamic and supportive group of skilled Positive Behaviour Support Practitioners
- Based in our National 360 Hobart team, you’ll enjoy a flexible working model that includes in-home visits, clinic-based sessions, and outreach across the local community
- Building strong relationships with participants and stakeholders
- Conducting Functional Behaviour Assessments (FBAs)
- Creating and implementing effective Behaviour Support Plans
- Educating and training carers and support teams
- Reviewing and reducing restrictive practices in line with NDIS guidelines
- Monitoring outcomes through regular data collection

About You
- You hold a relevant bachelords degree (e.g., Psychology, Social Work, Occupational Therapy, Speech Pathology, Counselling, Social, Disability, Teaching or Social Sciences).
- Endorsed as 2Proficient2 or above against the PBS Capability Framework (evidence of letter of suitability from the NDIS Commission also required).
- You have full Australian working rights.
- You have prior experience in community, private or acute settings.
- You have access to your own vehicle and hold a current drivers licence.
- You have or are willing to obtain a NDIS Workers Check and Working with Children Check.
