About the role
As a Boilermaker at complete steelworx, you will play a crucial role in the fabrication and assembly of high-quality steel structures and components. This full-time position is based in Tuggerah, NSW and offers the opportunity to work with a growing team on a variety of exciting projects across diffrent locations
What you'll be doing
* Interpret blueprints, drawings and specifications to fabricate and assemble steel structures and components
* Utilise welding equipment and techniques to join steel components according to industry standards
* Operate machinery and tools to cut, shape and prepare metal parts for assembly
* Collaborate with the wider team to ensure projects are completed safely and to the highest quality
* Maintain a clean and organised work environment, adhering to all health and safety protocols
* Working on different sites and locations with plenty of overtime and occasional living away from home
* Shutdowns and maintenance
What we're looking for
* Formal qualification in Boilermaking or a related trade, such as a Certificate III in Engineering - Fabrication Trade
* Proven experience as a Boilermaker, with a strong understanding of welding techniques, machinery operation and metal fabrication
* Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints and specifications
* Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work
* Team player with good communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively
* Physically fit and able to perform the physical demands of the role
* flexible with overtime hours
